Achievements

One of my proudest accomplishments while at the Chamber was helping small businesses who were in dire need of financial help due to the global pandemic of 2020. I was honored to be a part of carrying out this initiative that helped over 50 businesses stay afloat. 

Food Trucks, Music, Art, and Drinks all right on the beautiful Mississippi River - what's not to love? Launching this community-wide event series was fun and exciting. The event promotes culture, art, placemaking, and community, all of which are the future drivers of economic development.  

In 2012-2013 I attended and graduated from the Community Leadership program hosted by the La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce. The program opened my eyes to all the fantastic entities, organizations, and people that make La Crosse a great place to live. This was my first experience into what chambers of commerce did, and little did I know that I would be leaning the Chamber a mere 8 years later.  

First Supply built the Leadership Development Program (LDP) to identify and develop individuals for future leadership roles within the company. In 2014, I was among 15 Employees selected out of 600+ to go through a year-long development program. The program helped increase necessary leadership skills such as Accountability, Engaging & Inspiring Others, Collaboration & Influence, and Strategic Thinking.

I earned my Master's Degree in Business Administration from Viterbo University in 2012. The program had an emphasis on Sustainability and Servant Leadership. Servant Leadership was woven into every aspect of the technical learning and academic coursework. It prepared me to be an ethical business leader and to have a service mindset throughout my career.
